More comfort.
Less genset time.

48V LiFePO₄ battery systems for air conditioning, AC appliances and quieter time at anchor.

Aircon from batteries.
With a system sized for it.

A suitable 48V LiFePO₄ bank and inverter/charger can power air conditioning, galley appliances and other AC loads while the generator is off. We size the system around your actual loads and the time you want to spend on batteries.

LiFePO₄ suits repeated charging and discharging, with useful energy storage and a battery management system. Charging, protection and compatibility are part of the design.

The 48V bank powers an inverter, which supplies aircon and other AC appliances. Available runtime depends on usable battery energy and the loads aboard.

Higher voltage.
Lower current.

For the same power, 48V needs a quarter of the current of 12V. Lower current reduces cable losses for a given cable resistance and can allow smaller battery-side cables. Final cable size still depends on length, load, protection and installation conditions.

Comfort without the running genset

Run compatible aircon and AC appliances through the inverter for battery-supported periods. Compressor start-up and continuous loads determine the inverter capacity you need.

Runtime you can plan around

Usable battery energy, aircon demand, other loads and inverter losses set the runtime. We discuss recharging from shore power, solar and other suitable sources.

A complete marine system

Plan compatible batteries, BMS, charging, isolation, protection and monitoring together. Existing 12V or 24V equipment can be retained through suitable DC-DC conversion where appropriate.
